International Match: England Vs. Switzerland
England will go on the road this autumn to take on Switzerland in an international friendly at Leicester City’s King Power Stadium. The fixture, announced in April, takes place on Tuesday 11 September and will kick-off at 8pm.

It is the second time the King Power Stadium has hosted the Three Lions, following a victory against Serbia and Montenegro in 2003. September’s meeting will be the 25th time the two countries have played one another, with England registering 16 victories to Switzerland’s three.

TRAIN - Leicester Train Station is roughly 1.4 miles from King Power Stadium, which is approximately a five minute car journey or up to a 45 minute walk.

BUS - A number of bus services run from Leicester City Centre to King Power Stadium, stopping on Aylestone Road which is a five-minute walk from King Power Stadium. Most buses in Leicester are low floor vehicles, meaning they can be lowered to pavement level once the bus has stopped, and all include wheelchair spaces. CAR - The M1 and M69 Motorways interchange at Junction 21 (M1), where you should exit and follow the signs for the City Centre via the A5460. After 3 miles turn right onto Upperton Road, follow the road down until you get to the Liberty Statue Island and take the fifth exit down Western Boulevard and you will see King Power Stadium on your right-hand side.
