The SSE Women’s FA Cup Final 2017 will be played at Wembley Stadium connected by EE for the third year running on Saturday 13 May. Last season’s Final attracted a record crowd and the 2017 Final is expected to be even bigger and better.
For the second season, thanks to The FA’s partnership with SSE, all children can attend The Final for free. Adult tickets are priced £15 and concession and a group booking discount applies for groups of nine or more people, for adult tickets then dropping to £7.50.
The Final will be contested by Birmingham City Ladies and Manchester City Women in what is sure to be a brilliant match and occasion for women’s football.
Kelly Simmons, FA director of football participation and development, said: “It was very important to secure Wembley again for The Final so that we can continue building the momentum around the growth of the Cup and the women’s game in this country.”
Colin Banks, head of sponsorship at SSE, said: “It was important to us to help make the match free for children to attend again.
“Nearly half the crowd last May were children and this helps make a wonderful family atmosphere to such a fantastic occasion.”
